1. Five new custom variables
The following can now be inserted to letters:
Follicle Scan
Pregnancy Scan
Semen Analysis
Lab results
Medicines
2. You can choose which result to show
For some results, such as Lab Results, you can pick how the letter should read the data:
Latest: the single most recent result, whenever it was taken (good for something like AMH, where you just want the newest number)
Baseline this cycle: the first result recorded in the patient's current treatment cycle
Every result this cycle: all results from the cycle, listed in date order. This is useful for showing a trend, like rising oestradiol through stimulation
You can choose how the data is displayed:
Choose columns
Pick display format
Enter custom fall back text
3. Missing measurements are labelled, not left blank
If a scan or test was done but a particular measurement wasn't recorded, the letter now shows "Not recorded" instead of leaving the cell empty, so it's clear the check happened but no value was captured, rather than looking like it was skipped entirely.
4. Foetus-level detail for pregnancy scans
Where a pregnancy scan involves multiple foetuses, each foetus's measurements are now displayed separately rather than mashed into one comma-separated line.
5. Setting up your variables
Head to Settings > Custom Variables and add your variables:
Design the variables however best suits your clinic:
Once you have added those, they will show as variables options:
