You can share your screen when in video calls booked on wawa. Use this to share information with patients, and make sure you are all on the same page.
Note: In order to screen share and host video calls in wawa, you need to have the proper permissions configured. Approve relevant video call permissions in your computer or browser's settings if not already done.
To share audio with patients, make sure that the "Share tab audio" toggle is set to 'yes' when picking a tab to share.
Google Chrome
Select "Share Screen"
Choose what screen you would like to share. You can choose to either share your entire browser window, or an individual tab.
What the Patient will See
Your patient will be able to see both your face and the screen being shared.
You can easily toggle between the tab being shared and the video call screen by clicking "View tab: β¦" as shown below.
When you navigate to the tab that is being shared, you will be able to take action on the page which the patient(s) in the call will see reflected
Stop sharing the screen by clicking either "Stop sharing" or the blue lower "Stop screen share" button
Navigate back to the video call screen, and you will see the below display:
Microsoft Edge
Screen sharing in wawa from Microsoft Edge and other browsers works the same as from Google Chrome, it just may look slightly different! Here are some images of how screen sharing will look when using Microsoft Edge:
