How to get it set up
Visit the patient's profile
Navigate to the "Insurance coverage" tab
Click "+ Add Coverage"
Add the provider's name
Find the relevant insurance payer using the dropdown menu
Indicate the identity of the primary insurance subscriber
If not the patient themself, you will be prompted to enter the subscriber's name and date of birth
If the above, you will also need to enter the subscriber's address details
Click "Save changes"
After this, you can click "Check eligibility" to send the subscriber information to the Payer to check their insurance eligibility – their eligibility will be indicated under 'Status'
Want to add multiple forms of insurance coverage? Click "+ Add Coverage" again and scroll down to repeat the process as outlined above as needed!
