What this card shows
The Address completeness card sorts your patient list into three groups by how much of an address is recorded, and gives you a patient count for each.
The three groups are:
Complete means the first address line, city, state or province, postal code and country are all recorded.
Partial means the first address line is recorded but at least one of the others is not.
Missing means there is no first address line at all.
Use it before any postal mailing, and as a general check on how completely your team is capturing addresses at registration.
Reading the card
The figures are counts of patients, ordered largest group first.
Only groups that have at least one patient in them appear, so you may see fewer than three rows. In the example above there are no Partial records at all, so that group is absent.
The three groups together always account for your whole patient list.
A blank field counts the same as a missing one, so a record saved with an empty postal code is not counted as complete.
There is no date filter. This is a snapshot of your whole patient list as it stands today.
Note that Partial hinges only on the first address line, so a patient with a street address and nothing else lands there. It is the group worth working through first, because those records are the closest to being usable.
Where this data comes from
Address details are recorded on the patient's record. Open a patient, go to Patient information, and the Address Line 1, Address Line 2, Postal code, City, Country and regional fields sit together in the Patient contact information section. The regional field is labeled to match the country selected, so it may read State, Province or County.
None of these fields is required, which is why patients can sit in the Partial or Missing groups. Filling in the remaining fields on a patient's record moves them into Complete the next time the card is loaded.
Opening this card
In wawa, open Insights from the sidebar, then go to Standard Reports and select Patients, then Patient core demographics. The Address completeness card is toward the bottom of the dashboard.
