1. Flags and Alerts on Patient Profiles

Utilise flags and alerts on patient profiles to indicate important information affecting a patient’s treatment, financial notes, and more

2. How it Works

  1. Visit a patient’s page

  2. Click on the flag icon next to their name and age in the upper left-hand corner

  3. Any pre-existing flags or alerts will appear in the pop-up

  4. To create a new flag or alert, select “Create a new flag”

  5. Give the flag a name, indicate its category, and its alert level

Alert Levels

Remark: remarks appear when the flag icon is opened

Alert: alerts appear as a pop-up when a patient’s page is open

Both remarks and alerts appear alongside patient information when booking an appointment.

How do I change the frequency at which I am seeing flags pop up when opening a patient profile?

If you would like to prevent the flag pop-up from appearing every time you open a patient's profile for your clinic, do the following:

  1. Open your clinic settings

  2. Navigate to the Patient chart tab of the settings

  3. Under the Patient chart heading within the tab, you will have two relevant options:

    • Show active patient flags if only an alert flag is active: by selecting this box, the patient's flags will only appear when opening their profile if there is an alert flag

    • Show active patient flags if an alert OR remark flag is active: by selecting this box, the patient's flags will appear if there is either a remark or an alert flag
