1. Appointment Statuses in the wawa platform

Use Appointment Statuses to indicate the current happenings for appointments in your clinic.

2. How it Works

Creating Appointment Statuses

Set up appointment statuses by visiting your clinic settings, and navigating to the “Appointment Types” tab.

Create/edit appointment types on this tab. Indicate the name, icon, and text color for the appointment type. Select “Active” to be able to use the appointment type, and unselect this box when you do not want it to show up as an option for indicating the status of appointments. You will be able to reactivate the status in the future if you would like it to be usable again.

Using Appointment Statuses

Visit an appointment on the Calendar page. Click on the relevant appointment, and find the small N/A status indicator on the bottom left of the appointment pop-up.

Indicate the status of the appointment in line with what you have configured in your settings by clicking on this button and selecting the relevant status.

You can also change an appointment status through the Worklist view, which provides an overview of the status of all appointment statuses at a glance.
