If seeing a month with multiple payments for a single monthly subscription in wawa, there are a few reasons why this may be happening. This should not draw alarm, and rest assured that your subscription and any relevant samples or services are safe!

If paying for a subscription on a monthly basis, you will be issued a new invoice on the same date of each month. This means that if your subscription starts on the 15th of each month, a new invoice will be issued every month on the 15th of the month, regardless of when you make the payment for each invoice.

Your automatic payment has recently been set up

Once you make the first payment for your subscription, the payments will be withdrawn automatically upon the issuance of an invoice each month. If you – as described above – have recently made the first payment on an invoice related to your subscription, on the 1st of the month for example (15 days after it may have been issued), and your second invoice is issued on the 15th, then you may see two payments in the same month: one payment for the first invoice on the 1st, then the automatic payment for the second on the 15th.

My direct debit is not withdrawn yet, or was not withdrawn on the same day as other months

When a direct debit is set up in wawa, each payment will be initiated on the day of the issuance of an invoice. That means that each month on the 15th, for example, wawa will ask your bank to send the relevant amount to your clinic for your invoice.

Your bank will have their own processing time, which can lead to a gap of some business days between when wawa sends the request to your bank, and when the bank removes the funds from your account. This can also mean that any bank holidays or weekends can lead to different withdrawal dates each month.

If paying using a card for the subscription, the funds will come out automatically on the same day each month.
