How do I indicate a patient's primary care team member in wawa?
Navigate to the relevant patient's profile > Patient Information tab from the left-hand menu
Scroll down to the "Patient connections" header
Ensure the patient has the correct clinic location indicated
Select the patient's relevant primary care member from your clinic team within the dropdown
Click "Save" in the lower right-hand corner
The patient's indicated primary care team member will be indicated directly on the upper bar of the patient's profile.
What does it mean to indicate a patient's primary care team member in wawa?
When an invoice is created on the patient's account, the primary care member will automatically be indicated as the physician associated with the invoice.
This also allows for additional filtering and navigational capabilities within the platform when looking for patients associated with a given care team member.
