The Booked hours per-room card shows how many hours of appointments are booked into each of your clinic's rooms. Each bar is a day, and within a day the hours are split by room, so you can see how heavily each room is used and how the load is shared between them. Use it to spot rooms that are at capacity, rooms that are under-used, and busy days across the clinic.

Booked hours are worked out from each appointment's start and end times: a 90-minute appointment adds 1.5 hours to its room for that day.

The card lives on the Operations Dashboard and responds to the filters at the top of it:

Only appointments that have a room assigned appear on this card. If your clinic does not routinely choose a room when booking, the card will show little or nothing even though the clinic is busy. It is most useful once room booking is part of your normal scheduling routine.

Rooms are assigned when an appointment is booked. On the booking form, alongside the time and other details, whoever books the appointment can choose which room it will take place in. That choice is what this card counts.

The rooms available to choose from are set up per clinic in Settings, so the rooms shown on the card match the ones your clinic has configured. The more consistently a room is chosen when booking, the more completely this card reflects how your rooms are actually used.
