Insights is the data area of wawa, and the replacement for Analytics. It has ready-made reports, a place to build and share your own, an AI assistant to help you and your team write reports, graph KPIs, and gives you direct access to your clinic's data.

The Analytics tab will be retired soon.

A collection of dashboards and cards built and maintained by wawa, covering appointments, cycles, laboratory performance, patients, and other clinic operations. Every clinic gets the same reports, each showing its own data. You can open, filter and download them, but not change them. To adapt one, save a copy into Our data or your personal collection and edit the copy. All standard reports link to a Help Center article that explains what they show and where the data is entered.

A collection shared by everyone at your clinic who has Insights. Save cards and dashboards here to share them with colleagues. Anyone with Insights at your clinic can add, edit, move or delete what is here. Reports that wawa builds specifically for your clinic are delivered here too.

A collection that only you can see. Use it for work in progress and for questions only you need. To share something from it, move it to Our data.

Under Browse, open Databases and then Clinic Data to see every table of your clinic's data: patients, cycles, appointments, medications, test results, invoices and more. Open a table to see its rows, filter and sort them, and download the result as a CSV or Excel file. This is the quickest way to export a list, and it covers most of the downloads that used to come from the Analytics tab.

Every table and column in Clinic Data has a plain-language description of what it holds. Hover over a column heading to read it, or open a table's details to see the descriptions for all of its columns. wawabot reads the same descriptions when it answers a question.

An AI assistant built into Insights. Ask it a question in plain English, such as "How many egg collections did we do last month?", and it builds the query, runs it and shows you the result, which you can then adjust or save. It works only with the data you can see. Check its answers as you would a colleague's: open the query it built and confirm the filters are the ones you meant.

wawa switches Insights on for your clinic's account. Within the account, a person can open Insights if they have the Admin role or the Insights role. Your clinic's wawa administrators assign roles: open the team member in your team settings and choose their roles.

Insights shows data for your whole account: every patient, at every one of your clinic locations. It does not follow the location assignments or the Access all patients role that limit what someone sees elsewhere in the wawa platform. A person who sees only one location's patients in the app sees every patient in Insights, including names, contact details, dates of birth, treatment and billing records, and can download them.

For that reason:

Insights never shows another clinic's data. Each account's data is kept separate in the database itself, not only in the menus.

Most Analytics cards have an equivalent in Standard Reports.

The lists on the Analytics Reports tab are now tables you can browse and download in Clinic Data. Each list has a matching table. Details the list pulled in from elsewhere, such as an appointment's type or a cycle's protocol, live in a linked table: open the table, then use Join data to add it.

The old Test results list also included symptoms and other entries patients logged in the app. Those are not in Clinic Data; Lab Results holds laboratory results only.

If you relied on an Analytics report you cannot find in Insights, contact wawa support. We can rebuild it in your clinic's Our data collection.

Select Insights in the left-hand menu of the wawa platform. If you do not see it, ask one of your clinic's wawa administrators for the Insights role.
