You can use the new relationships page to make sure that the proper relations are indicated between the relevant patients on the wawa platform.
To set up a relationship using the relationship tab, navigate to the patient's profile → Relationships (on the left-hand menu) → "Add relationship" or Click ••• to the right of the relationship that you wish to edit or remove.
Anon. Oocyte or Sperm Provider and Known Oocyte or Sperm Provider
View this relationship in each patient's relationship tab
Registered Parent
View this relationship in each patient's relationship tab
Partner or Married
Indicates a partnership between the two patients
Opens to potential for more connection in communication, visibility of treatment information, and ease in linking of samples during treatment.
Surrogate
Indicates a surrogate and intended parent relationship between the two/three patients
You will be able to use samples in a surrogate's treatment by selecting 'Transfer to Surrogate' from the culture tab
