What this card shows
The Cycles currently active card shows a single number: how many treatment cycles are active at your clinic right now. It is a live snapshot of your current caseload, useful for understanding how many patients are mid-treatment at any moment.
Only cycles that are currently active are counted. Completed and canceled cycles are not, and neither are cycles that are still planned but have not started.
Reading the card
This is a current total, not a count over a time period, so it has no date filter. It always reflects the situation as of now.
The number goes up when a new cycle starts and down when a cycle is completed or canceled.
The card lives on the Operations Dashboard and responds to one filter:
Clinic: focus on one or more locations, if your organization has several.
Where this data comes from
A cycle is active from the point it starts until staff close it. It leaves this count when someone marks it complete or cancels it on the patient's Cycle page.
Because the number is a live count, keeping cycle statuses up to date, closing cycles when they finish, is what keeps it accurate.
Opening this card
In wawa, open Insights from the sidebar, then go to Standard Reports → Clinic operations → Operations Dashboard. The Cycles currently active card is on the dashboard.
