What this card shows
The Cycles started and completed card compares two things month by month: how many treatment cycles started, and how many of those have been completed. It is a line chart with two lines, so you can see both your monthly cycle volume and how much of it has reached completion.
Both lines are grouped by the month each cycle started. The Started line counts every cycle that began that month; the Completed line counts how many of those same cycles have since been completed.
Reading the card
By default, the card shows the previous 12 months plus the current month.
The two lines naturally sit close together for older months, where most cycles have finished, and further apart for recent months, where many cycles are still in progress.
Hover over any point to see the exact numbers for that month.
The card lives on the Operations Dashboard and responds to the filters at the top of it:
Date Range: change the time window.
Clinic: focus on one or more locations, if your organization has several.
Where this data comes from
Both lines come from the patient's Cycle page. A cycle's start date, set when the cycle is created, decides which month it belongs to. The Completed line then depends on staff marking the cycle complete when treatment finishes.
Because a cycle only joins the Completed line once it has been marked complete, keeping cycle statuses up to date is what keeps the gap between the two lines meaningful rather than just a sign of paperwork lagging behind.
Opening this card
In wawa, open Insights from the sidebar, then go to Standard Reports → Clinic operations → Operations Dashboard. The Cycles started and completed card is on the dashboard.
