What this card shows
The Planned cycles not yet started card shows a single number: how many planned cycles are genuinely still ahead of you. These are cycles in planned status that either have no start date yet or have a start date in the future. It is your true forward pipeline of cycles still to come.
This is a narrower count than Cycles in planned status. That card includes every planned cycle, even ones whose start date has already passed but that were never moved into active treatment. This card leaves those out, so the difference between the two is the number of overdue planned cycles that may need a closer look.
Reading the card
This is a current total, not a count over a time period, so it has no date filter. It always reflects the situation as of now.
A cycle is counted while it is planned and its start date is either unset or still in the future. It drops out once it starts, or once its start date passes.
The card lives on the Operations Dashboard and responds to one filter:
Clinic: focus on one or more locations, if your organization has several.
Where this data comes from
A cycle enters the pipeline when it is created in planned status. On the patient's Cycle page, starting a new cycle opens a form where the treatment plan and expected start date are entered. That expected start date is what decides whether the cycle is still counted as upcoming.
Keeping the expected start date accurate, and moving cycles into active treatment when they begin, keeps this pipeline number a reliable picture of what is genuinely still to come.
Opening this card
In wawa, open Insights from the sidebar, then go to Standard Reports → Clinic operations → Operations Dashboard. The Planned cycles not yet started card is on the dashboard.
