What this card shows
The Test types requested by month card shows which genetic tests your biopsy requests were sent for, month by month.
There is one line per test:
PGT-A: preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy, which screens for an abnormal number of chromosomes.
PGT-M: testing for a monogenic condition, which screens for a specific inherited condition the family carries.
PGT-SR: testing for structural rearrangements, which screens for a rearranged piece of chromosome.
Other: everything else recorded, including mitochondrial DNA, tissue matching, and non-invasive testing.
Reading the card
A request ordered for more than one test counts once against each, so these lines add up to more than the number of requests on the Biopsy requests by month chart above. That is exactly why the two are separate charts rather than one stacked chart: the totals here are not a breakdown of the totals there.
These are counts of requests, not counts of embryos. One request covers every embryo biopsied from a cycle, so the embryo counts on the PGT outcomes tab are much larger.
Most clinics will see PGT-A well clear of the others, with PGT-M and PGT-SR near the floor. The useful signal is a change in shape rather than the ordering.

The card sits on the PGT KPIs dashboard, on the Procedure mix tab, and responds to the biopsy filters at the top:
Biopsy date: the time window. It scopes by the date the request was raised, and starts on the past 6 months plus the current month.
Embryologist (biopsy): narrow to one practitioner's requests.
Destination lab: the genetics laboratory the request was sent to for analysis. Laboratories do not all apply the same result definitions, so pick one to compare like with like; requests migrated from a previous system mostly carry no laboratory and drop out when you do.
Test types: keep only requests sent for a particular test. Note that this keeps the whole request, so a request for PGT-A and PGT-M still contributes to both lines when you filter on either.
Clinic (patient's cycle location): focus on one or more of your locations.
Two things worth knowing about how the months and the clinic are decided:
Each request falls in the month it was raised, not the month its results arrived. wawa does not record the date a result came back.
Clinic (patient's cycle location) is the clinic the patient's cycle belongs to, not the genetics laboratory the request was sent to.
Requests migrated from a previous system carry no embryologist, so they are counted here but disappear as soon as you pick a name in the Embryologist (biopsy) filter.
Where this data comes from
A request is raised from the Culture tab of the patient's Cycle page by selecting the embryos you are sending and choosing Biopsy.
The tests are then set on the request itself, in the Test types field, which accepts as many as the request needs. Each one you add puts the request on another line of this chart.
A request saved without a test type recognized here is counted under Other, so the line is worth a look if it moves.
Opening this card
In wawa, open Insights from the sidebar, then go to Standard Reports → Laboratory Performance - Biopsies/PGT → PGT KPIs. Select the Procedure mix tab. The Test types requested by month card is the lower right of the four charts at the top of the tab.
