1. Gametes in the Active Cycle

Use the Gamete overview in the “Active Cycle” tab to link the oocyte and sperm provider to the active cycle.

2. How it Works

  1. Visit the patient’s page → Active Cycle → Gametes

  2. Connect the relevant Oocyte and Sperm providers under the headings

    • Note: If you already know the donor and patient connection, you have to link a donor’s aspiration, you have to log the aspiration from the recipient patient’s page, not the donor’s page

    • Read more about these connections and editing them below!

  3. Link the relevant sample

  4. From here you can select ‘Thaw’ to jump to the relevant samples on the cryostorage page

You are now able to have multiple donor samples connected to one cycle.

When doing so, thawed gametes are those that will appear in the culture view.
Learn more about connecting reserving and nominating donor samples here.

You can aspirate directly from the donor in the gamete overview on the relevant patient's page, by using the "+ Aspiration" button.

These samples will then appear in the Gametes and Culture overview pages on the patient page.

3. Making Edits

  • Disconnecting a donor sample from the overview: click the red trash can icon to the right of a sample to unlink the sample.

  • Disconnecting a partner sample: click the small arrow to the right of the sample. Then click "Unlink" next to the relevant sample to be disconnected.

  • Connect a donor: use the "+ Add donor" or "+ Add known donor" buttons to choose the relevant donor , then link any relevant sample(s)
