There are multiple ways to mark gametes and embryos as frozen across the platform.

You can learn more about cryostorage devices and cryostorage tanks.

Looking for an already frozen sample? Read about how to search for it here.

Select the oocytes/embryos that you would like to freeze by using the checkboxes to the left of samples, and clicking the "Freeze" button above the sample table. You will then be able to enter the relevant cryostorage information.

From the Andrology page

You can cryopreserve semen samples from the Andrology page. Click on the ••• to the right of the relevant sample, then select "Cryo Storage" as the follow up option. You will then be able to enter the relevant cryostorage information.

Importing Samples from Another Clinic

You can import samples from another clinic from the Cryostorage page. You can read more about importing already frozen samples here.

Marking an Embryo's Fate as Frozen from the Embryology Tab

Click the individual embryo whose fate you would like to indicate as "Frozen," then find the 'Fate' dropdown under "Embryo details" where you can select "Frozen" and click "Save."
