To fertilize a sample using Rescue ICSI, follow the below steps, and scroll to the bottom of the page for a video walkthrough:
Navigate to the relevant patient's profile
Go to the Cycle page
Go to the Culture tab
Select the relevant oocyte that is undergoing fertilization → document the first fertilization if not yet done, using the "Fertilize" button
You will now see that the sample has been marked as fertilized
To document rescue ICSI has been undertaken, select the embryo again as you did initially
Click "Fertilize"
This time, select "Rescue ICSI" as the method of fertilization
The fertilization column will now show "[INITIAL METHOD OF FERTILIZATION] → Rescue ICSI"
