How to audit cryostored samples in wawa

Learn how to audit samples within your cryostore.

You can audit samples directly from the cryostore within wawa, and view their status in the "Last audited" and "Audit status" columns.

How to Audit a Sample

  1. Navigate to the relevant device — either from the Cryostore Devices tab, or from the freeze record page

  2. Click the ••• or "Action" button to the right of the device name

  3. Click "Audit"

  4. Enter the audit type, either by selection from the dropdown, or typing to add a new type need be

  5. Select whether the audit has Approved or found a Discrepancy in the device audit

  6. Add any relevant notes

  7. Indicate the status of the discrepancy, if relevant

To quick-view audit information for a device, locate the device on the Cryostore Devices tab, and hover over the indicated date in the "Last audited" column.

Audit Flow

To use the audit flow for added efficiency, filter among the devices tab in the cryostore to narrow down the view to the relevant devices.

  • Once you have the relevant view showcasing the samples you would like to audit, click the "Audit" button in the upper right-hand corner.

  • Indicate the audit information — audit type, results, note, discrepancies — and click "log audit"

    • You will then be automatically moved to the next device to audit

  • To move backwards and forwards along the device list, or close the audit flow, use the buttons in the lower left-hand corner

Bulk Audit

In order to audit multiple devices at the same time, select all the relevant samples using the checkbox to the left of the Device IDs.

Click the "Bulk audit" button that will appear, and enter the results of the audit that are relevant to the selected devices.
