1. Subscriptions in the wawa platform

Use subscriptions in the wawa platform to manage recurring payments for patients, including for functions such as cryostorage contract billing.

2. How it Works

Setting up and Editing Subscriptions

Set up a subscription by visiting a patient’s page and navigating to the “Subscriptions” tab under the finance heading on the left-hand menu. Click “+ New Subscription”

  • Indicate the start date and the invoice frequency of the subscription

  • Modify the billing category if needed

  • Add the relevant products that will be invoiced for every time the subscription period occurs

  • Add any internal or patient-facing notes if relevant

Pause or cancel a subscription by clicking “Actions” on the subscription.

Every time the subscription period comes around, an invoice will automatically be created and sent to the patient. If a patient has a direct debit set up for this subscription, the amount will automatically be charged.

Viewing Subscriptions

View all subscriptions on the Finance > “Subscriptions” tab. Here you can view and edit all of your clinic’s subscriptions, as well as filtering them based on status – Active, Cancelled, or Paused.

View all subscriptions isolated to a patient from their patient page under the “Subscriptions” tab. By clicking on a subscription you can also see any invoices made in connection to the subscription.
